THERE are new leaders of Division One Group A in the CREWE REGIONALY SUNDAY LEAGUE.

Sydney Arms dropped were knocked off top spot after going down to a 5-3 defeat at the hands of Nantwich Pirates despite a double from Ben Reddock. Aaron Davies was also on target for Sydney, but Wayne Garnett scored twice for the Pirates and veteran Andy Truan, Lewis Jackson and new signing Abraham Mulenga all hit the net to secure victory for the visitors.

That allowed Talbot to move into pole position after they hammered Winsford-based Princes Feathers 5-1 thanks to two goals from Jordan Bennion and further strikes from Joe Goodier, Callum Bourne and Scott Rankine. James Crowther scored for the visitors.

In the other game in Division One Group A bottom club C & N Utd enjoyed an excellent 2-1 win over Cuddington. The home side lead 2-0 thanks to goals from Matt Saywell and Tom Heaton before Joe Lanceley netted for the visitors.

In Division One, Group B, leaders Broadhurst dropped their first points since the resumption of fixtures when they were held to a 2-2 draw by Sandbach Town.

The visitors lead 2-0 at the break with goals from Matt Timms and Jake Holland, but Broadhurst hit back in the second half through Tom Holland and Brad West (penalty) to claim the draw.

JS Bailey and Audlem took part in a high scoring game at the King George Playing Field. Audlem raced into a 4-0 lead after only 25 minutes, only to see JS Bailey come back to make it 3-4.

However, the second-placed visitors composed themselves and scored a further four goals to run out 8-3 winners.
