CREWE'S American football team are on a youthful recruitment drive after returning to training following the grassroots sports easing.

Crewe Railroaders are inviting youngsters aged 13 to 18 to join their Academy's open training sessions on King George V Playing Fields this Sunday, April 18 and Sunday, April 25 from 10.30am.

Head coach Jason Smith said: "We welcome anyone aged between 13-18 to join us. No experience is required and football boots, gum shield, and water is all you need to bring."

The club's seniors began their preparations for an eight-game BAFA season last Sunday.
