CREWE'S Billy Sass-Davies showed his aerial prowess on international duty with Wales under-21s this afternoon (Tuesday).

The Abergele-based defender, 21, headed Paul Bodin's side into a 2-0 interval lead in a Euro 2023 qualifier against Bulgaria in Sofia.

Sass-Davies, who has featured in Crewe's Carabao Cup ties against Hartlepool and Leeds in August, has been a regular in the Welsh under-21 set-up.

The under-21s clash, which Wales won 4-0, was streamed live by Welsh broadcaster S4C's Sgorio show on YouTube. You can watch a replay of the game here with former Norwich and Newcastle United 1980s/90s striker Malcolm Allen among the commentators in the Welsh language.

Sass-Davies' set-piece header, which was his first goal for his country, is at the 59:00 minute mark of the video.
