Christ Church is to be converted into a digital co-working space.

AFFORDABLE homes for young people, the conversion of Christ Church into a technology centre and new road and pedestrian links are planned as part of a £14.1 million investment in Crewe.

The regeneration projects have been announced by Cheshire East Council as part of the town's recent Future High Streets Fund award and are aimed at drawing residents and businesses back into the town centre.

THE Lord Lieutenant of Cheshire David Briggs was among the dignitaries at a VJ Day celebration in Crewe's Queens Park.

The South Cheshire Pipe Band led a procession, which included Crewe Town Mayor Cllr Tom Dunlop, the Revd Father. John Xavier Leal SSC and representatives from Crewe Royal British Legion to host a Victory in Japan Remembrance Service within Burma Star Island.
