Cheshire Police have enhanced the way they manage and respond to emergency calls - becoming the first police force in the North West to utilise live video streaming and location tracking software.

The GoodSAM Instant Help platform has been installed in the Force Control Centre (FCC) to help call handlers better understand what's going on at the scene of a crime or incident, by allowing the caller to live stream what they can see taking place in front of them.

CREWE Alexandra Football club are hosting a celebrity football event this May - raising funds for Alder Hey Children's Hospital in Liverpool.

The Sellebrity Soccer event will take place at the Mornflake Stadium, including the likes of Soccer AM presenter Tubes, X Factor winner Shane Ward, TOWIE stars Dan Osborne and James Argent and former Crewe Alex player Steve Walters.

McDONALD'S say they reopened one of their Crewe restaurants today (Sunday) after it was forced to close because of a blaze in an electricity box.

Two fire crews were sent to the fast food giant's Dunwoody Way restaurant yesterday (Saturday) afternoon to tackle the fire which saw thick smoke and flames billowing out of the box outside the eatery (see picture).
