Woman charged following serious assault on 20-year-old female in Crewe

A 23-year-old woman of Elm Drive, Crewe, has bene charged with Grievous Bodily Harm (GBH) (Nub News).
A 23-year-old woman of Elm Drive, Crewe, has bene charged with Grievous Bodily Harm (GBH) (Nub News).

Cheshire Police officers investigating a serious assault in Crewe, have charged a woman in relation to the incident.

A 23-year-old woman of Elm Drive, Crewe, was arrested on Sunday 21 April.

She has since been charged with section 18 assault (Grievous Bodily Harm).

A 20-year-old woman was taken to hospital with a serious wound to her back. She has since been discharged (Nub News).

The woman appeared at Chester Magistrates' Court on Tuesday 23 April where she was remanded in custody until a hearing at Chester Crown Court on Tuesday 21 May.

Her charges relate to reports of an assault in Elm Drive, Crewe, at 6:03am on Saturday 21 April.

A 20-year-old woman was taken to hospital with a serious wound to her back. She has since been discharged.

Cheshire Police told Nub News officers are still establishing the cause of the female's injury.
