Woman arrested for drug driving after Mercedes crashes into wall in Crewe

A 25-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving, after a Mercedes A200 crashed into a wall in Crewe.

On Sunday 27 August, Cheshire Police were called to reports of a one-vehicle collision on Crewe Road, close to its junction with Church Lane, Wistaston.

Just after 7pm, officers arrived at the scene, finding a Mercedes A200 had collided with a wall.

The driver, a 25-year-old woman, was arrested on suspicion of drug driving.

She has since been released under investigation, pending further enquiries.

There were no reports of any serious injuries from the collision incident.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At 7pm on Sunday 27 August, police were called to reports of a one-vehicle collision on Church Lane, Wistaston. 

"Officers attended and found that a black Mercedes A200 had collided with a wall.

"There were no reports of any serious injuries.

The woman has been released under investigation, pending further enquiries (Google).

"The driver of the car was arrested on suspicion of drug driving.

"The 25-year-old woman has since been released under investigation, pending further enquiries."
