Woman, 85, injured after crashing car into South Cheshire shop wall

An 85-year-old woman is recovering in hospital after crashing her car into a shop wall in Nantwich over the weekend.
On Saturday 11 October, emergency services were alerted to an incident at Beechwood Close precinct, Stapeley.
Around 12pm, a Honda Jazz smashed into Minshall & Co shop wall, next door to Cronkinson Farm Co-op.
The woman sustained injuries to her leg and was taken to hospital by North West Ambulance Service paramedics.

Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service and a structural engineer attended the scene as a precation.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At 12pm on Saturday 11 October, police were called to reports of a collision on Beechwood Close, Stapeley.
"Officer attended and found a grey Honda Jazz had collided with a shop.
"The driver of the car, an 85-year-old woman sustained injuries to her leg and was treated by paramedics.
"Firefighters and a structural engineer were also called to the scene as a precationary measure."
