A WISTASTON pub has built its own outdoor hospitality space in readiness for the relaxation of Covid restrictions on trade next month.

The Woodside in Valley Road is already taking bookings for its outdoor space, which includes a sheltered decking area, while it has launched a recruitment drive for new kitchen staff.

Pubs and restaurants are preparing to open their doors again on Monday, April 12 when non-essential retail will also reopen.

Pubs will only be able to serve food and drink outdoors, but there will be no requirement for a substantial meal to be served with drink orders and no curfew.

You can book for the Woodside's beer garden at the Greene King site here.
