Crewe residents can look forward to a spectacular night of fireworks and family entertainment as Wistaston's annual display returns for 2026.

The event will take place on Saturday 7 November at the Eric Swan Sports Ground and Brittles Pavilion, off Church Lane, behind Wistaston Church Lane Academy.

Gates open at 5.30pm, with fancy dress and pumpkin carving competitions both being judged at 6pm ahead of the main fireworks display at 6.30pm.

The professional show will be delivered by Black Lab Fireworks, promising an exciting evening for residents of all ages.

Wistaston Community News and Events will be selling candyfloss and light-up toys, while Wistaston Scouts will serve hot food and drinks.

Whitegates Crewe Estate Agents has sponsored the event for another year, helping bring the community together for the popular annual celebration.

Entry is by cash donation, with visitors encouraged to bring money for the collection buckets and refreshments.

The Wistaston Community Events team told Nub News: "We are thrilled to be hosting another exciting professional display for the village for 2026, delivered by Black Lab Fireworks.

"Please remember to bring cash for the bucket collection and refreshments, bring a torch, and most importantly, stay safe.

"We kindly ask sparklers aren't lit in the crowded viewing area. Parking is limited, so walking is the best option if possible."

Organisers have urged visitors to arrive early, bring a torch and plan their journey in advance due to limited parking.

With fireworks, competitions, food and refreshments on offer, the event promises a fun-filled evening for the whole family.
