The weather has been extremely mixed this week - rain is expected for the majority of the weekend.

Queens Park's Park Life Café has extended its opening hours until 7pm with a new menu - maybe treat yourself to some food there.

There is plenty of live indoor music taking place in and around Crewe.

The Kennel Alternative Friday is on at Crewe Central this Friday (July 29).

Inside the former outdoor covered markets, Lyceum Square, The Kennel Bar will be playing alternative music again this Friday - becoming a weekly event.

The Kennel Bar will be playing rock, metal, punk, ska, dub, emo and goth.

It will also be taking your alternative requests.

This event begins at 7pm and runs until 10pm. Entry is free.

Saturday - Reggae Night @ The Rising Sun Vaults

There will be a Reggae Night with DJ Kev Lovell at The Rising Sun Vaults this Saturday (July 30).

All the classic reggae hits will be played.

There is a tiki party with cocktails and grass skirts and fancy dress if you like.

This free event kicks off at 8:30pm.

Sunday - Just Pretending @ The Raven

Just Pretending will be performing at The Raven this Sunday (July 31).

  • Then on Sunday (July 31), The Imperial will be hosting its weekly karaoke night. DJ Pete Harding will be entertaining visitors to the Edleston Road pub from 8pm to 1am Monday morning.
