What's on in Crewe this weekend: live music for all ages, Friday - Sunday

SPRING is in the air, despite the poor weather forecast for the next few days. There is nothing to worry about though, Crewe has you covered for lots of indoor events taking place this weekend.

There are events going on in Crewe for all ages. This Friday there is a prayers for Ukraine vigil taking place at Crewe Market Hall. Everyone is welcome to attend, the Mayor of Cheshire East says that she would like to see you there.

Here are our top picks for this weekend:

1. Paul Armer live at Crewe Market Hall

Crewe Market Hall has fast become a hub for all sections of the community.

On Sunday evening (March 13) Country/Americana singer Paul Armer, currently in the midst of his UK tour, performs live on the Market Hall's stage.

Paul starts his set at 4pm. Make sure you get there nice and early.

2. McNulty's Ghost at Crewe Market Hall

Six local lads, performing rock, indie and folk music, what's not to like?

This enthusiastic band have music for everyone to enjoy.

3. Jamie Ashton live at the Farmers

The Talented solo singer is in Leighton on Saturday night, performing at the Eight Farmers pub.

It is sure to be a lively night, which kicks off at 9pm. You can find more details here.

Also worthy of mention for the weekend:

A 70th anniversary concert of Yvonne School Of Dancing, called: 'Showtime' will be on at Crewe Lyceum Theatre this Saturday and Sunday.

The youthful YSD Theatre School will bring you some of their best production numbers over the last 70 years. See here for more information.

Coppenhall Working Mens Club will be hosting an afternoon event, consisting of three bands this Sunday.

These are: 70's disco and party band 'NSS', four piece female fronted function band, 'Diamonds and Ducks', and Black Tie Bandits.' bring lively soul, Motown and reggae covers to the mix.

Crewe Market Hall will also be hosting Crewe favourites Bandit this Saturday at 8pm.
