The lovely spring weather has deserted us, hopefully it won't be too long until sunny weekend walks are back.

This weekend in Crewe may not be too warm, but it is forecast to be without rain.

Despite the drop in temperature, there is still a fun weekend ahead for all - what better place to look for events than with Crewe Nub News.

Here are our top picks for this weekend:

1. Emilie Jasmine at Crewe Market Hall

Crewe Market Hall continues to demonstrate it is a hub for all sections of the community.

On Friday evening (April 8), Emilie Jasmine returns to perform live on the Market Hall's stage.

The versatile performer goes up on Crewe's Market stage at 8pm.

Emilie will be covering classic ballads and even rock music. There will be a wide range of genres for all to enjoy on the night.

Make sure you get there nice and early to get a front row seat and enjoy the food and drink on offer from the Market's stalls - there is a big Easter at the venue ahead.

2. Erika Ignata at Crewe Market Hall

On Sunday afternoon (April 10), acoustic solo singer Erika Ignata will perform live on the Market Hall's stage.

The hugely talented Erika returns to Crewe Market Hall - following a hugely successful Polish Evening.

The set starts at 4pm, performing a wide mix of pop, country, jazz and indie.

3. Circa' 81 at The Cosey Club

Sound of the 80s and 90s group Circa '81' - will be performing at The Cosey Club, Haslington this Saturday (April 9).

The event will be filled classics from the two decades including: The Human League, Depeche Mode, Soft Cell, OMD, plus more pop dance and chart hits.

The event commences at 8pm. The Cosey Club is open until midnight.

More big events in Crewe this weekend

Funtasia Circus is into its final few days at Tipkinder Park in Crewe.

There are fire-breathers, the wheel of death, Argentinian Bolas, a comedian and more.

The circus began on March 31 and ends this Sunday (April 10).

Crewe Market Hall will also be hosting entertaining harmony trio Baker Street Belles this Saturday at 8pm.

Also in Crewe this Sunday, Rolling Stones tribute band Tumblin' Dice will be performing at The Raven pub.

The free event commences at 7:30pm.

For live sport this weekend, Crewe Alexandra travel to fellow struggles Doncaster Rovers this Saturday at 3pm - a defeat and they are relegated back to League Two.
