What's on in Crewe this weekend: Mother's Day walks and live music for all ages Friday - Sunday

The SUN has been out all week and it is going to continue this Mother's Day weekend with warm temperatures.
Queens Park, Joey the Swan, Quakers Coppice and Nantwich Lake are all great local walks to take your mum in the spring sunshine.
Crewe has you covered for lots events taking place from Friday through to Sunday.

Here are our top picks for this weekend:
1. Mother's Day Entertainment - Andrea Rose Lamballe at Crewe Market Hall
Crewe Market Hall has established itself as a hub for all sections of the community.
On Sunday afternoon (March 27), Andrea Rose Lamballe performs live on the Market Hall's stage.
The talented Pianist will be performing at 1pm until 3pm.
From 3pm a DJ will be on for you to request a song for your mum.
Make sure you get there nice and early to get a front row seat and enjoy the food and drink on offer from the Market's stalls.

2. The Entertainment at Crewe Market Hall
On Friday evening (March 25), acoustic duo The Entertainment perform live on the Market Hall's stage.
The set starts at 8pm, performing a wide mix of classics and contemporary tracks.

3. Afterglow at the Brunswick Hotel
Party band Afterglow will be performing at The Brunswick Hotel this Saturday night (26 March).
The live music starts at the Nantwich Road pub at 9pm, with the four-piece group playing all your favourites to get you in the party mood.
The Brunswick will be open until 3am.

More big events in Crewe this weekend
This Friday there is a fundraiser event at Crewe Alex, Andy's Army, for Macmillan Cancer Support in memory of Crewe Alex PA announcer Andy Scoffin.
There will be the NSS Band, Sway and music from Crewe Soul with special guest DJ Pete Roberts.
Also in Crewe this Sunday, five-piece rock band Oska will be performing at The Raven Pub on Brookhouse Drive.
The group will be playing covers from the likes of Blondie, The Pretenders and Fleetwood Mac and Texas.
The FREE event starts at 7:30pm. The Raven pub is open until midnight.
