What's on in Crewe this weekend: Women's day, record fair and so much live music

MARCH is now upon us, spring is almost here. Although the weather is forecast to be cloudy and wet this weekend, there is plenty to enjoy in Crewe that is indoors this weekend.
There are many of events going on across the town for all ages. This Saturday afternoon, Crewe Alex are at home to Wycombe Wanderers in a must win clash for any chance to survive relegation.

Here are our top picks for this weekend:
1. Celebrate International Women's Day at Crewe Market Hall
Crewe Market Hall has fast become a hub for all sections of the community. And on Saturday evening (March 5) they are celebrating women's history with an event for all to enjoy.
The hall's first International Women's Day will include five solo female singers as well as an all female choir.
Supporters of the event are Motherwell Cheshire CIO (which runs from 5 to 11pm)

2. Record Fair at Crewe Market Hall
The first Crewe record fair of 2022 by Hit the North Record Fairs is an event not to be missed. A wide range of vinyl records will be on sale from a fully booked list of stall holders.

3. Back to Back at Albert's Corner
The rock and roll four piece are around town again tomorrow night, (Friday) with a live show at Albert's Corner pub on Prince Albert Street. Booking is advisable.

NEW EVENT: A 80s and 90's new-wave, goth and alternative tunes night, titled: 'Strange Crewe' is at Tom's Tap & Brewhouse tomorrow night (March 4). See here for more information.
Indie tribute band The Kaiser Monkey Killers will be performing at the Eight Farmers pub on Saturday night, 9pm start with free admission.
There's also former X-Factor 2016 contestant Andy Mac returning to Crewe Market Hall this Friday. His performance begins around 8pm.
