Vulnerable woman taken to hospital after being assaulted in Crewe alleyway

A vulnerable woman was taken to hospital after being assaulted in a Crewe alleyway, suffering injuries to her head and hands.
On Tuesday 15 April, Cheshire Police were alerted to an incident on Crewe's Brookhouse estate in an alleyway to the rear of Manor Way.
A caller, who spoke to police around 10.50pm, reported she had been assaulted by a man and a woman around 10.30pm.
The victim, who is autistic, was taken to hospital after sustaining a bang to the head from being punched and also kicked in the back.
A social media post shows the woman with cuts on her head and hands.

Officers have since questioned a man in his 50s with the woman not yet located.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At 10.50pm on Tuesday 15 April, police received reports of an assault on a woman in Crewe.
"The caller reported the incident occurred at 10.30pm in which she was assaulted by an unknown man near to Manor Way, suffering minor injuries."
