A van overturned in a crash at an incident hotspot roundabout in Crewe, with no injuries reported.

On Monday 29 December, emergency services were called to Meremoor Moss Roundabout at its junction with the A500 in Weston.

At 9.54am, a van and a car crashed into each other, with the van overturning.

Meremoor Moss Roundabout and a section of the A500 were closed for an hour until recovery took place.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At 9.54am on Monday 29 December, police were called to a multiple collision at the Meremoor Moss Roundabout in Weston.

"The collision involved a car and a van.

"The A500 was closed up to Junction 16 of the M6.

"They also closed the Wychwood Roundabout on the A531.

"There were no reported injuries and the roads were reopened shortly before 11am."
