A van was deliberately set on fire in a late night arson attack in Crewe, with Cheshire Police investigating.
On Tuesday 22 October, Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service received reports of an incident on Bramhall Road, Wistaston Green.
At around 3.30am, one fire crew from Crewe arrived at the scene, discovering a van "well alight."
The van blaze had spread to the fence of a property, with Crewe firefighters using a hose reel jet to put out the flames.
Due to the suspected deliberate nature of ghe incident, Cheshire Police were called to the scene.
Officers have since confirmed the arson attack is being investigated, with the van severely damaged.
A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "A van was well alight and was affecting the fence of a property.
"Firefighters in breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to put out the flames and bring the fire under control.
"The area was scanned with a thermal imaging camera to ensure there were no hotspots.
