Cheshire Police are urgently appealing for help in tracing a missing teenager from Crewe.

Luke Herron, who is also known as Luke Lawton, was seen at around 2.30am on Thursday 19 March in the Brogden Drive area of Willaston.

He has since been seen in the West Street area of Crewe a short time later and was believed to have been riding a green pushbike.

The 15-year-old is described as white, around six feet tall and with short ginger. He also wears glasses.

Inspector James Bell said: "Our officers have been conducting a number of enquiries to locate Luke, and we are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

"As part of our enquiries, we are urging anyone who has seen Luke, or has any information relating to his whereabouts, to please contact us.

"I would also like to appeal to Luke directly to please get in contact with us to let us know you are safe and well."

Anyone with any information regarding Luke's whereabouts is asked to contact Cheshire Police via the website or on 101, quoting incident reference number IML-2291068.
