A 32-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting a woman whilst she was on her way to work in Crewe.
On Tuesday 13 January, officers were alerted to a serious incident on Weston Road.
At around 5.10am, the victim reported she was approached by two unknown men on bicycles, with one of them hitting her on the bottom and rolling the bike into her back (leaving bruises) and the other male spitting at her.
Officers were told both of the men were of eastern European/Asian descent, with one male having a moustache and curly hair and the other having a stubble and curly hair.
The victim, who told Nub News she was "so scared" of what was going to happen and sat down on the floor, reported one man was on a small white bike, with the other on a dark blue/black bike.

On Friday 16 January, one of the men, who was identified by the victim whilst out with a friend at Mecca Bingo on Crewe's Phoenix Leisure Park that night, was arrested by police.
The man has since been released on bail, pending further enquiries.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "A 32-year-old man was arrested on 16 January on suspicion of sexual assault and has since released on bail pending further enquiries."
