EDLESTON Road has a new quirky furniture store which is pledging to offer "something a bit different" for the home.
Ryan Parker asked owner and manager of Hidden Treasurz, Emily Gresty, how her first business venture, which opened its doors at the beginning of this month, is shaping up.
How does if feel to be open in Crewe?.
It feels fantastic to be opening, especially when some established businesses haven't survived the coronavirus pandemic. We are going to bring some life back into our hometown. I haven't personally seen anything like our store in Crewe, so it brings a lot of joy for us to know that we can give local residents something unique to make their homes feel special. How long did it take to work on Hidden Treasurz? It took us just a matter of weeks to create the shop into how it is now. There wasn't too much to do as we worked very hard over a short period to get the store how we wanted it.
We love our quirky shop and we have made sure there are items to suit all budgets and personalities.
What are your main selling lines?
We have a huge range of flashy furniture, distinctive furniture, authentic oak furniture and much more. Our additional items include luxury car brand ornaments such as Ferrari, Lamborghini and Crewe's Bentley Motors. How has the store been received?Based on our first week of trading, the store's success has exceeded our expectations. We change our stock weekly, which always means it is worthwhile for customers to visit again soon.
Hidden Treasurz is open on Monday to Friday from 9am to 5 pm and on Saturdays at 10 am to 4 pm.
You can find it at the postcode CW2 7EH
