Two Crewe men charged with shoplifting offences in town avoid jail

Two men from Crewe charged with theft from a shop in the town have been spared jail, with both handed suspended sentences at Chester Magistrates' Court (Wiki Commons).

Two men from Crewe charged with theft from a shop in the town have been spared jail, with both handed suspended sentences.

Kieron Edwin McBarron, 41, of no fixed abode in the Crewe area, was first arrested on Derby Street, at around 4pm on Thursday 29 August.

Andrew Karl Crimes, 48, of no fixed abode in the Crewe area, was arrested on Oxford Street, at around 5.50am on Saturday 31 August.

The Crewe men were both later charged with theft from a shop.

The Crewe men's shoplifting incidents occurred on Saturday 18 May and Friday 19 July at stores in the town (Cheshire Police).

McBarron appeared at Chester Magistrates' Court on Friday 30 August and was sentenced to four week suspended for 16 months.

Crimes appeared at Chester Magistrates' Court on Monday 2 September and was sentenced to four weeks suspended for 12 months.

The Crewe men's shoplifting incidents occurred on Saturday 18 May and Friday 19 July at stores in Crewe.
