Traffic stopped on M6 following seven-vehicle collision between Crewe and Stoke-on-Trent

Traffic stopped on the M6 northbound between J15 (Stoke-on-Trent) and J16 (Crewe) on Friday 10 January.

National Highways said this is due to a seven-vehicle collision "with injuries reported" around 3pm.

Emergency services were in attendance with all lanes reopened around 5.20pm.

National Highways warned motorists of up to two-hour delays and around eight miles of congestion.
