Three people charged following A500 police pursuit near Crewe

Officers from Cheshire police have charged three people with multiple offences - following a pursuit near Crewe.

James Quilligan, Christopher Quilligan and Thomas Kiely were all arrested in the early hours of Saturday (June 11).

The pursuit concluded on the A500 near Audley, Stoke-on-Trent - approximately seven miles from Crewe.

The police pursuit went down the A500 and ended near Audley (Geograph).

The three men have been charged with a number of offences linked to the theft of caravans.

Christopher Quilligan, 32, of Oates Avenue, Rotherham, has been charged with, affray, causing serious injury by dangerous driving, damage to property and driving without a licence.

He has also been charged with failing to stop after a road incident, resisting a constable in execution of duty, two counts of theft and driving without insurance.

James Quilligan, 28, of no fixed abode, has been charged with two counts of theft, damage to property and affray. 

Thomas Kiely, 28, of Leighton, Welshpool, Powys, has also been charged with damage to property, affray and two counts of theft.

The pursuit concluded seven miles from Crewe on the A500 near Audley, Stoke-on-Trent (Cheshire Constabulary).

All three were remanded in custody to appear at Chester Magistrates' Court on Monday (June 13).
