Three arrested for drugs offences following police raids in Crewe
Three males have been arrested for drugs offences following two police raids on the same street in Crewe, with the trio released on police bail.
On Tuesday 12 November, Cheshire Police carried out drug warrants at two addresses on Wheelman Road.
A huge police presence was seen on the street, including armed officers, close to the site of the burnt down Beechmere retirement village.
Officers arrested a 16-year-old boy at one address, on suspicion of being concerned in the production of Class B drugs.
A 23-year-old was arrested at a second address on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.
Another man, 19, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class B Drugs (cannabis).
A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At 3.20pm on Tuesday 12 November, police carried out drug warrants at two addresses on Wheelman Road in Crewe.
"A 16-year-old boy was arrested at one address on suspicion of being concerned in the production of Class B drugs.
"A 23-year-old was arrested at a second address on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs and a 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class B Drugs (cannabis).
"All have been released on police bail pending further enquiries."
