Three accused of firearm, knife and drug offences in Crewe

THREE people have been accused of firearm and drug offences in Crewe.

It follows arrests following stop and searches by police in the town centre last Friday afternoon (November 6), with all three charged and since appearing before magistrates.

Givemore Mutevera, 39, of Laura Street in Crewe and two 17-year-old boys, one from Crewe and one from Doncaster, have each been charged with possession of a firearm, possession of a knife and two counts of possession with intent to supply cocaine and heroin.

Mutevera was arrested on Gresty Road in Crewe at 2pm last Friday.

While the two 17-year-old boys were arrested on Crewe Street at around 2.25pm the same day.

Cheshire Police say all three appeared at Warrington Magistrates' Court yesterday (November 9) and have all been remanded.
