A TEENAGER crashed his car after a police chase through Haslington and Wheelock.

The 18-year-old was arrested in connection with drugs and motoring offences after the incident in the early hours of last Friday morning (June 11).

Officers on patrol had earlier spotted the car on Crewe Road in Haslington and then followed in an attempt to stop the vehicle.

But the vehicle made off and later collided with a property on Crewe Road in Wheelock.

Cheshire Police said that an 18-year-old was arrested at the scene on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs, failing to stop, dangerous driving and drug driving.

He remains in custody.
