By Ryan Parker 8th Mar 2022

A refurbished play area at Queens Park in Crewe was unveiled in a ceremony last week, attended by MP Kieran Mullan, the mayor of Cheshire East Council, local stakeholders and councillors.

This 100k investment, which was funded by a grant from the FCC Community Foundation has been enjoyed by children and teenagers since.

Lesley Ann Parton who lives close to the park said: "Queens Park is improving greatly. It now has better play equipment for children of all ages to enjoy."

Mum-of-three Ruth Chester said: "This play area modernises the park and looks fun and safe for children."
