Photo Gallery: Queens Park children's play area investment

A refurbished play area at Queens Park in Crewe was unveiled in a ceremony last week, attended by MP Kieran Mullan, the mayor of Cheshire East Council, local stakeholders and councillors.

This 100k investment, which was funded by a grant from the FCC Community Foundation has been enjoyed by children and teenagers since.

What Crewe residents think of the new equipment

Lesley Ann Parton who lives close to the park said: "Queens Park is improving greatly. It now has better play equipment for children of all ages to enjoy."

Mum-of-three Ruth Chester said: "This play area modernises the park and looks fun and safe for children."
