A British frozen food supermarket chain is set to expand its Crewe store into two neighbouring units, with a seven-week closure planned to complete the development.
Farmfoods, Oak Street, will take over the closed Tile Giant and William James Carpet & Flooring stores either side, forming one large new Crewe superstore.
Closing from Sunday 17 May for the expansion, Farmfoods will reopen on Friday 3 July with longer weekday opening hours, offering its "full range" of branded and own-brand products.
With over 300 UK stores, Farmfoods will be holding a 50 per cent off all stock sale before its temporrary closure in Crewe.
A Farmfoods spokesperson told Nub News: "We are pleased to confirm plans to extend our shop at Oak Street, Crewe to include our existing space, plus both of the vacant neighbouring units at the site.
"We will close on Sunday 17 May after a 50 per off all stock sale and reopen on Friday 3 July.
"The significantly extended format will offer our full range of branded and own-brand products including frozen food, groceries, chilled foods, bread, milk, fresh fruit and vegetables, along with a range of household and other items.
"The location will be open 7 days a week, Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm, Saturday, 8am to 8pm and Sun 11am to 5pm.
"Customers can visit our website to sign up to receive occasional special offers, discounts and exclusive deals.
"After signing up they will also be emailed some personal money-off vouchers for extra savings on their shopping."
