Funnyman Russell Howard is making an unexpected stop in Crewe next month, to perform a special warm up gig for his new comedy tour.

Tickets went on sale on Thursday 28 March and are selling fast, for the one-night special at Crewe Lyceum Theatre on Friday 12 April.

Russell is just one of the top named comedians appearing in Crewe this year.

Love Island narrator, Ian Stirling, took to the stage this March, with Graham Norton, Paul Smith, Russell Kane, Clinton Baptiste and Rob Beckett set to perform later this year.

Tickets for Russell Howard went on sale on Thursday 28 March and are selling fast (Ryan Parker).

A Crewe Lyceum show advert reads: "Russell Howard, 'one of the world's top comedians' (Sunday Times), is warming up for his new comedy special.

"As we reel from one global crisis to the next, join Russell, 'the uplifting Comedy King', as he puts the world to rights in his own uniquely hilarious way."
