A popular Crewe Indian restaurant is preparing to launch a new menu next week, while announcing changes to its weekly opening hours.

The Royal Saffron, 25 Earle Street (former Crown pub), will introduce an updated menu featuring new dishes, traditional Indian favourites and a wider choice of specialities.

It says the changes will bring customers more authentic Indian flavours, with something for both those who enjoy familiar dishes and diners looking to try something different.

The announcement comes as the restaurant also confirms a change to its weekly closing day.

From now on, The Royal Saffron will be closed every Monday. It will remain open from Tuesday to Sunday, giving customers six days a week to visit.

There is also good news for diners planning to eat out during the festive season.

Following requests from customers, The Royal Saffron has confirmed it will open every day throughout December, apart from Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

It means customers will be able to visit throughout the festive period, whether for a family meal, a get-together with friends or simply to enjoy their favourite Indian food.

The Royal Saffron said: "Following many requests from our lovely customers, we are delighted to announce that we will be open every day throughout December.

"Yes, you heard that right. We will welcome you throughout the festive season, giving you more opportunities to enjoy your favourite Indian food with family and friends."

The Royal Saffron opened in Crewe earlier this year, bringing authentic Indian cuisine to the town centre.

Its opening attracted attention for its team of chefs with Michelin-trained experience, as previously reported by Crewe Nub News.

The Royal Saffron is open 12pm to 2.30pm, Tuesday to Sunday and 5.30pm to 9.30pm on these days, except for Friday and Saturday where it remains open until 10pm.

With dine-in and takeaway available, bookings can be made by calling 01270 297715 during opening hours.
