Crewe UTC students have had an exciting opportunity to showcase their skills during a T-Level placement assessment centre hosted by Bentley Motors.

The prestigious Pyms Lane automotive manufacturer is offering seven of the West Street engineering college's T-Level students the chance to complete their industry placements within its world-class facilities.

The assessment centre brought together 25 ambitious students who applied for this unique experience.

Each candidate was put through a series of practical and technical challenges designed by Bentley's expert teams across specialist departments, including Research and Development, Interior Trim and Bodywork, giving students a real taste of what it takes to work at the cutting edge of design and engineering.

Students tackled activities such as virtual reality paint shop simulations, interior trim installation, fault-finding exercises, and assembly tasks.

These challenges tested not only technical ability but also problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and adaptability.
