WATCH out for windy weather around Crewe later this week as the Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning.

The warning covers the whole of England, with the meteorologists forecasting heavy winds and rain from Wednesday.

This could lead to travel disruption as a result of the severity of the winds coming to the UK from the west following an Atlantic storm.

Gusts of up to 50mph are being predicted in Crewe by early on Thursday morning.

Some short term loss of power and other services is possible says the Met Office.
