DANCE music promoter Craig Timmis has invited famous DJ names Seb Fontaine, SUAT and Brazilian artist Tech Girl to unite for a livestream event in aid of the Georgy Capener appeal.

A host of local DJ talent will also join Saturday's (February 6) show in which viewers are being encouraged to make a donation to the fund for Wistaston schoolboy Georgy, who continues his fight with bone cancer.

You can watch and listen to THE BIG ZOO LIVESTREAM through Facebook, Twitch and Mixcloud from 8am and with 18 hours of livestreaming it promises to be a big day to break the monotony of lockdown.

Zoo Promoter said: "We've been trying to keep people entertained throughout lockdown. Our events in Nantwich had such a huge following and we wanted to keep people's spirits up through yet another lockdown, this time when it's cold, dark and miserable for everyone.

"We've tried to bring a mix of famous DJs with big followings around the world and also provide a platform for local DJs to showcase their talents.

"Georgy is the nephew of two of our DJs and his Uncle Rob is playing for him at 9pm. Georgy is an inspiration to us all and we would be delighted if people would join us for his party and donate just a few pounds to his fund."

Craig added "We have a lovely community of supporters tuning in for our events now and they all chat along in the chat groups while listening to the music. They even have virtual drinks together. It's great to be a part of this community."

For more information, DJ schedule and to find out how to tune in, visit the Zoo DJs page on Facebook or click the event link here.

You can stream to TVs via online apps Twitch and Facebook or you can watch and listen via your phone and tablet on Mixcloud.

Remember: Save the date. Stay home. Stay safe. Tune in and turn it up loud.

The appeal has already raised nearly £194,000 to fund Georgy's treatment. You can find its JustGiving page here.
