Driver suffers 'minor injuries' after car flips onto roof in Crewe

A road in Crewe was temporarily closed after a car lost control and flipped onto is roof, with the driver suffering minor injuries.

At around 7.38pm, fire crews from Crewe and Nantwich, Cheshire Police and North West Ambulance Service arrived at the scene.

No arrests were made in the incident, with Capesthorne Road reopened by 9.40pm (Google).

Capesthorne Road was closed as emergency services dealt with the incident.

Firefighters gave the driver care who was taken to hospital by paramedics as a precaution.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At 7.35pm on Tuesday 22 October, police were called to reports of a collision on Capesthorne Road.

The driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries (Cheshire Police).

"The collision involved a vehicle which had flipped onto its roof.

"There were reports of minor injuries. The vehicle was recovered and the scene cleared by 9.40pm."
