Wistaston Cricket Club said: "In 2025, we are fundraising for a new two-lane nets facility.

"Our current practice nets are old and have deteriorated to the point that they are no longer safe to use.

"We have decided to take on the ambitious project of raising £45,000 to replace the current nets with a facility that will last for many years to come, give us greater scope for more members and squads to train, and support the community via local schools.

"Through our wonderful members we have already raised £25,000, this gives us the beginnings of an amazing set up.

"Through Crowd Funding we're hoping to raise the remaining £20,000, meaning we can have the best set up for our members and the community surrounding the club, securing an excellent training facility for our members and for many years into the future."
