A popular Crewe fish and chip shop has closed for a major refurbishment, taking around three weeks to complete.

Cod 'N' All, Underwood Lane, temporarily closed on Wednesday 19 February, with work starting to update the chippy.

It is expected Cod 'N' All will reopen in early to mid-March following the big makeover.

Owner, Constandina Panayi, said: "We would like to inform all of our customers the chippy is closed for refurbishment.

"Sorry for any convenience caused. We are not fully sure when we will reopen yet but most probably in about three weeks."

Cod 'N' All is usually open 11.30am to 2pm and 5pm to 9pm, Monday to Saturday.
