A Crewe tattoo and piercing business has permanently closed down, with the shop owner deciding to "prioritise the most important things in life."

Operated by Jesse Johnson, the business relocated from Crewe town centre's Earle Street in December 2022.

General manager of Studio 78, Jesse Johnson, has made the decision to spend more time with his family (Studio 78).

Mr Johnson has now decided he wants to spend more time with his family.

A Studio 78 social media statement read: "It is with a heavy heart I have decided to close Studio 78.

"It has been a big part of my life for long time and I've had some great times and met some awesome people and friends along the way, so it's not been an easy decision.

"I will still be tattooing, but from the new year this will be from a studio at home three days per week, so please feel free to contact me if you'd like to book something.

"I am in the process of getting in touch with all my clients, don't panic if you haven't heard from me yet, I'll be calling you shortly.

Studio 78 has an overall Google rating of 4.6 out of five from 94 reviews (Studio 78).

"Anyone else that has booked in with another artist you should have heard from them well by now, if not get in touch with them via Instagram."

Mr Johnson decided it was time to 'step back' from the shop, but will is still working for his home studio three days per week.

Studio 78's statement added: "I have gone back and forward with this idea over the last few years; since having cancer and living through lockdown my perspective on life has changed massively.

"I decided I should prioritise the most important things in life, for me that's family and more importantly the time I get with my family.

Studio 78 relocated from Crewe town centre's Earle Street to Nantwich Road in December 2022 (Nub News).

"I would genuinely like to thank everyone that's supported me from the bottom of my heart.

"I have just reached a point where I'd like to step back a little bit and concentrate on the things that really matter in life."
