BBC TV presenter 'excited' to perform at 'wonderful' Crewe venue next week

A popular BBC presenter is "excited" to perform alongside three well-known television personalities from the world of antiques, live at a "wonderful" Crewe venue next week.

Bargain Hunt's Christina Trevanion will be joined by Charlie Ross, Charles Hanson and Phil Serrell to perform Antiques And A Little Bit Of Nonsense at Crewe Lyceum Theatre on Monday 2 October.

The show, which entertains audiences with unheard tales from television, the auction room and beyond, commences at 7:30pm.

Antiques And A Little Bit Of Nonsense is live at Crewe Lyceum from 7:30pm on Monday 2 October (Ryan Parker).

"This will be our first show of Antiques And A Little Bit Of Nonsense for a while following a summer break and we are all very excited to see you all," said Christina.

Christina, 42, has appeared on a number of BBC daytime television programmes as both an antiques expert and an auctioneer.

As well as Bargain Hunt, programmes she has featured on include Flog It, Antiques Road Trip and Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is.

Now the married mother-of-two, who is a partner of Travanion & Dean auctioneers and valuers, Whitchurch, is looking forward to performing at Crewe Lyceum.

Christina told Nub News: "I know Crewe very well and pass through the historic railway station regularly.

"My mum and late dad bought their first ever house together in Crewe when he worked for Rolls-Royce.

Charlie Ross, Christina Trevanion, Charles Hanson and Phil Serrell will be performing Antiques And A Little Bit Of Nonsense at Crewe Lyceum Theatre (Nub News).

"Crewe Lyceum Theatre is a wonderful venue and it actually feels quite daunting to be performing here."

Ross, 53, a regular presenter on Bargain Hunt, has featured on several BBC antique programmes.

Hanson, 45, and Serrell, 69, are also regular presenters of the show, with both having notable expertise in the antiques industry.

Christina added: "Charlie [Ross], Charles [Hanson] and Phil [Serrell] are all so much fun. I have known them all for 20 years plus.

"When we are working together, it just feels like I am with a group of friends.

"The jokes and tales they tell of their experiences never fail to amaze me.

As well as Bargain Hunt, Christina Trevanion has featured on antique programmes Flog It, Antiques Road Trip and Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is (BBC TV).

"If you are fan of antiques and Bargain Hunt this show is a must for you."

Bargain Hunt, which has has been on television since 2000, continues to be filmed across the UK and aired on BBC One and iPlayer.
