Police respond to morning crash at busy Crewe junction

Cheshire Police responded to a morning crash at a busy junction on the edge of Crewe town centre, involving two vehicles.
On Wednesday 28 January, officers received reports of an incident on Vernon Way/West Street.
Around 8.28am, a black Peugeot and a blue Vauxhall collided with one another, turning into West Street.
Police closed off one lane of West Street and Vernon Way, while dealing with the crash.
No one was injured in the incident, with the cars sustaining minor damage.
The section of West Street/Vernon Way was cleared and reopened by 9.24am.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At 8.28am on Wednesday 28 January, police were called to a two-vehicle collision at the junction of Vernon Way and West Street in Crewe.
"There were no reports of any injuries, and the scene was cleared by 9.24am."
