Police deployed to 'breach of the peace' incident at Crewe's new bus station
Cheshire Police were deployed to a "breach of the peace" incident at Crewe's new bus station, with two men, not from the town, arrested at the scene.
On Tuesday 7 May, officers received reports of an incident at Crewe Bus Station, off Delamere Street.
At 3:43pm, police arrived at the scene, discovering two men causing a disturbance.
A 55-year-old from Ulverston and a 53-year-old man from Winsford, were both arrested on suspicion of breach of the peace.
Both men currently remain in police custody.
This incident happened on the day Crewe's new bus station opened to passengers.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At 3.43pm on Tuesday 7 May, police were called to reports of a breach of the peace at Crewe Bus Station.
"Officers attended and two men, a 55-year-old from Ulverston and a 53-year-old man from Winsford, were both arrested on suspicion of breach of the peace.
"Both men remain in custody at this time."
