A CREWE man missing from home for 10 days has been urged to contact his family to let them now he is safe.
Cheshire Police are increasingly concerned for the welfare of Josef Skrdlant and have renewed their appeal for information.
The 51-year-old has not been seen since he left his home in the Queens Park area of Crewe on foot on the morning of Friday, February 19.
Josef had moved back to Crewe after spending time living in Birmingham and officers are asking for anyone who may have spotted him there as well as Crewe to come forward.
There have been no confirmed sightings so far. An underwater search of Queens Park lake conducted last Friday has taken the police no further.
"We would like to appeal directly to Josef to get in touch to let us and your family know that you are safe. They are very worried about you," said Det. Insp Claire Jesson, of Crewe Local Policing Unit.
The D.I added: "We have been conducting searches for Josef since he was reported as missing. So far, the extensive efforts of our officers have been to no avail."
Josef is around 5ft 2 tall, of a proportionate build; he has a tanned complexion and has brown eyes and black hair that is greying and receding.
When he was last seen he was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and blue shoes.
He is originally from the Czech Republic and speaks very little English.
Anyone with information, CCTV or dashcam footage of Josef recorded after 10am on February 19 is asked to get in touch by ringing 101, quoting IML 922551.
