Picnic in the Park 2025 draws 7,000 to Crewe's Queens Park

Crewe's free family-friendly Picnic in the Park live music festival returned to Queens Park on Saturday 21 June, drawing in around 7,000 visitors.
Crewe Town Council, with the help and support of the Friends of Queens Park, brought Picnic in the Park back to Crewe for the fourth time, running from 12pm to 6pm.
The event was host to live performances from local talent including Crewe Brass, Shakermaker, Acrylic, Vavoom and Teal, who rocked the park and got the crowd up and dancing in the sunshine.

New for the event was a free Park and Ride Shuttle Bus which operated between Crewe Bus Station/Multi-Storey Car Park on Delamere Street and the main entrance to Queens Park and was well-used throughout the day.
A Crewe Town Council spokesperson told Nub News: "We are delighted to have been able to deliver a successful Picnic in the Park event in 2025.
It's been such a pleasure to work with such a brilliant community of volunteers to bring this event to Queens Park once again.
"Not only does this event give a platform to some incredible local talent, it also showcases one of Crewe's most valuable assets and tons of community spirit."
