Pergoda blaze tackled by Crewe fire officers in early hours

FIRE officers out out a garden fire at a town centre property early this morning.

One engine attended at an address on Camm Street where they found a wooden pergola which was well alight at around 3.30am.

The crew used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire and a thermal imaging camera to check for any hotspots.

Firefighters were at the scene for around an hour-and-a-half.
