Patrols stepped up on Crewe street after pervert targets women with phone clips

POLICE have stepped up patrols in Ruskin Road after a man was reported shadowing women.

Officers are appealing for information after two incidents in which the man is said to have been walking slowly near to the women while playing inappropriate videos on his mobile phone.

Both incidents took place between 4.40pm and 5.05pm on Tuesday, November 30.

The man is described as of eastern European origin, around 5ft 5 tall and in his 40's.

Insp. Andrew Smith, of Crewe Local Policing Unit, said: "We are doing all we can to trace the person responsible.

"Patrols have been stepped up in the area and I urge anyone with any concerns to speak to an officer."
