Papa Johns has officially reopened its branch in Crewe, with the new owner confirming it is employing 20 members of staff in the town.
The pizza chain opened its doors once again on Nantwich Road at 11am on Tuesday 14 May.
Under the management of new owner, Ravi Singh, Papa Johns has kept three team members from the Crewe branch that temporarily closed in January.
Mr Singh told Nub News: "I am excited to reopen Papa Johns in Crewe. It is a big brand and we take pride in our ingredients, product and service.
"I have been getting a really positive response from customers. Many told me they were gutted when the branch closed down in January, but we are now here to stay.
"I started my career at Domino's Pizza as a trainee manager. After just two months I became a store manager and worked my way up to become area manager and regional manager.
"After working there for 11 years, I moved over to Tim Hortons and helped to bring the brand over from Canada to the UK.
"I built the Tim Hortons brand from scratch here and looked after all the new sites opening in England and Wales.
"I then had an appetite to do something for myself. Pizza is my passion and after seeing Papa Johns as a good competitor at Domino's I started working for them.
"The pizzas are fantastic here and all our ingredients are fresh. I am looking forward to serving the local community."
Mr Singh will also be the owner of the Macclesfield branch, set to reopen in June after also closing in January.
He said: "I will get the Crewe Papa Johns store properly up and running first and once that is done, I will reopen the Macclesfield site.
"Like our Crewe branch, We will be employing around 20 staff in Macclesfield.
"We have a large fan following in Crewe. I believe for us to be successful we have to showcase our quality food and offer a quick service.
"After working in the food industry for 17 years, I know what we need to make a business work and I will certainly put all of my effort into Crewe and Macclesfield."
Papa Johns' Crewe branch is open from 11am to 11pm, seven days per week.
