A new restaurant specialising in shawarma is opening in Crewe town centre this weekend, offering free food to all customers on its launch day.

Today Restaurant, 263 Edleston Road, launches at 10am on Sunday 1 December, after two months of works.

The new business, which takes on the former Scrapyard Salon unit, will be open from 9am to 12am seven days a week.

Today Restaurant is offering free food to all customers on Sunday 1 December (Ryan Parker).

Today Restaurant serves the likes of shawarma, pizza, grilled meats, chips, garlic bread amd fatayer.

Seating up to 30 people, customers will be able to eat in or takeout.

Today Restaurant is operated by the owners of Cheshire Halal Meat Centre, High Street.
