Plans for brand-new electric vehicle charging points on Crewe Business Park have been approved by Cheshire East Council.

Mr John Dunn, from Baywater Healthcare UK Limited, applied for permission in August to install four electric vehicle charging points on the car park off Electra Way in Crewe.

The car park currently has 93 car parking spaces and now four of these will be converted into EVC bays.

No objections were raised from the Highways Officer and the plans were approved on 5 October (Nub News).

The officers report, by Joshua Greig,  stated that "the proposed electric vehicle charging equipment and conversion of four parking bays will be located on the rear car park without public view.

"The vehicle charging point would have an appearance typical of these pieces of equipment and its appearance would be appropriate and acceptable."

No objections were raised from the Highways Officer and permission was granted for the work to go ahead on 5 October.
