New Crewe shop opens on busy road opposite discount supermarket chain
A new Crewe grocery shop has opened on a busy road, opposite an Aldi supermarket and three doors down from a Morrisons Daily convenience store.
Liam Grocery Shop, Nantwich Road, officially launched on Thursday 26 October at 8am.
The Slovakian store, named after owner 'Liam', sells a variety of food and drink items, children's toys, household items and vapes.
It is located in a shop unit most recently occupied by CW10 Beds & Mattresses Outlet.
A staff member told Nub News: "We were delighted to finally open this week. It took longer than expected but we are here now.
"This shop sells food and drink items, kid's toys, vapes and more.
"We are a Slovakian business and are reasonably priced, faring well compared to other local shops.
"This store sells snack items from a range of countries you will not find in the nearby Aldi supermarket or Morrisons Daily."
Liam Grocery Shop's unit has been occupied by the likes of Jan's Occasional Cakes and Wrights across the past decade.
The new Crewe store is open 8am until 10pm, seven days per week.
