New Crewe model railway exhibition taking place this month
A new Crewe model railway exhibition is taking place at an entertainment venue in the town this month, set-up by rail enthusiasts.
The first 'Model Rail Crewe' model railway exhibition will take place on Sunday 23 June at The Coppenhall Club, North Street, between 10am and 5pm.
This exhibition has been with a desire to host a model railway exhibition in the North West to showcase numerous model railway layouts, trade stands and model railway clubs and societies.
The Coppenhall Club, situated alongside the West Coast Mainline (WCML), has lots of space to accommodate many exhibits and trade stands with a free on-site car park.
A spokesperson for Model Rail Crewe said: "For many years of visiting model railway exhibitions nationwide, it has always been an ambition to host an exhibition in the local area.
"With the help of several amazing sponsors, local model railway clubs and volunteers this has become a reality. We certainly could not manage it without them."
The standard entry price is £7 per person, with free entry for children under 12 with an accompanying paying adult.
Any unaccompanied persons under 12yrs will be charged the standard entry price.
The event is sponsored by The Coppenhall Club, Scenic 3D scale model painting, Sonnet Radio, Staffordshire Printing Ltd print services, The Hobby Goblin model rail specialist, InFocus Photography, and Orion Creative website development.
Online tickets can be purchased as E-Tickets or sent via post HERE.
